Smartphone Manufacturers Rating

Often in the determination of the best producer, the main role is played by simple habit or affection. If a person previously had a phone of a certain company, and he liked it, then he will certainly buy the next gadget of the same company. And there is nothing wrong with that, but is it worth looking at the advantages of some 15-20% in performance tests, if convenience in work is still more important? So when asking other people for advice, you may hear conflicting answers. To ease your task, you can view the ranking of smartphone manufacturers.

What are the groups of manufacturers?

Currently, there are different ratings of smartphone manufacturers, but, as a rule, there is a comparison of the share of these devices on the world market. You can also be guided by such ratings when choosing, but places in them are won by the mass production.

Often, all manufacturers are divided into three groups - A, B and C brands. In terms of convenience, design and performance, smartphone companies are often the same. And the main difference is the percentage of failures. Although the difference there is only a few percent.

Reliability is still higher for A-brand companies, and all the innovations come from the best manufacturers. That is why their products are marked with a mark-up “for a brand”, which is sometimes quite tangible.

The third group (C-brands) includes little-known firms that have won customers by the low cost of their products. The performance of their devices is different - the best are not inferior to companies from the first groups. But the reliability here is the lowest. And although the quality has improved over the past couple of years, it is still lower than that of the smartphones of those manufacturers that are in the first two groups.

Top companies: A-brands

Second tier: B-brands

This category of manufacturers includes companies that have recently declared themselves in the mobile device market. This mainly includes smartphone manufacturers from China. These are already well-known brands around the world, but while they are trying to produce many gadgets at a price lower than wholesale, they are equal in performance and, in some cases, superior.

Important! Every month, the line between this group and the first is becoming thinner. B-brand companies are developing rapidly, and buying mobile phones of their production, you get a device with high performance and quality. Most likely, it all depends on the specific model, and not on the reputation of the manufacturer.

  • Thl.
  • Elephone.
  • DOOGEE.

Which company to choose?

Every new year, the position in the ranking of phone manufacturers is changing. Some firms disappear, someone buys someone. Some companies are growing faster than others:

  • Microsoft bought the Nokia branch, which is responsible for the production of smartphones, that is, now there are no Nokia smartphones, but Microsoft has appeared. Since this company has many other tasks, the main focus is not only on the production of smartphones, because of which there may be some omissions in the sale of mobile phones. But today, anyway, this is one of the most successful companies in the phone market.
  • Lenovo bought Motorola, although phones continue to be sold under the Motorola brand. Lenovo's overall market share currently consists of these two components. But this year, Lenovo’s share in the global smartphone market, which could have been expected after such a merger, is not too noticeable.
  • The Chinese brand TCL now manufactures its devices under the name Alcatel, the company he bought.
  • Xiaomi is developing so rapidly that its representatives assure that in 5 years they will be able to become industry leaders.
