The external material of the jacket is water-repellent, able to withstand low temperatures. These jackets require special care. You need to know how to properly wash the park so that it does not lose its properties and appearance. In addition, many housewives are interested in the question of how to wash a park in a washing machine. Wash such things so as not to damage the insulation. Of course, you can reduce the risk of damage to things and give them dry cleaning. But many prefer to deal with such issues on their own. Laundry Prep

Before you start washing, you need to study the label on things. As a rule, the manufacturer gives his valuable recommendations regarding the care of things. They are indicated in the form of special characters - you will find the decryption in our designation table on clothes. If it says that machine wash is possible, then you can start.

But before proceeding directly to the process, the thing needs to be prepared:

1. Remove from your pockets everything that is lying there: keys, coins or other items.
2. Unfasten the fur lining, collar, belt. In general, everything that can be removed from the park.
3. Rub especially contaminated places with household soap, rub gently with a brush. Pay special attention to the collar, places near the pockets.
4. Zip up the jacket, buttons, Velcro, hooks.
5. Turn inside out.

Machine washable

As a rule, cotton or polyamide, or a combination of both, is used for sewing parks. In rare cases, membrane tissue is used. Accordingly, the washing method will differ, depending on the material.

Features washing membrane jackets:

• Jackets with membrane fabric should be washed at a temperature of 30 degrees. Ordinary powder can simply ruin the fabric and deprive it of its unique qualities, so it is better to buydetergents for washing membrane products. 
• It is better to wash such a park manually or on delicate mode in the machine.
• The membrane fabric park cannot be squeezed and twisted.

Washing cotton or polyamide products:

• They can be washed in a washing machine at a temperature of 40 degrees.

• When washing a white jacket, you can use oxygen bleaches.

Wash jacket with padding polyester

This is the easiest option, such jackets easily carry washing in an automatic machine:

3. Drying and spinning is best off.

5. Squeeze the washed product out slightly by hand and hang to dry.

Wash down parks:

1. Turn the jacket inside out, put some tennis balls inside, put in a special bag for washing and put it in a drum.
2. For washing use special liquid detergent for washing down jackets. In an extreme case, you can use a liquid gel to wash wool. Pour this product directly into the drum of the washing machine.
3. Set the delicate wash mode and temperature to 40 degrees.
4. Spin must be set at minimum speed.
5. Drying is best off completely.
6. If possible, put an extra rinse function.

How to wash a park on fur?

Best of all, if the fur lining can be unfastened. In this case, the jacket is washed as usual, and the fur can be dry cleaned. But if this is not possible, then you can try to clean the jacket with fur yourself.

Important! Only artificial fur can be washed. If your fur is natural, then you can’t wet it at all. Better to dry clean than ruin a good expensive thing. Faux fur can be washed in two ways:

• In the washing machine in cold water, setting the delicate mode. Without spinning and drying. Wash with special means for cleaning the fur.
• Manually by dissolving the detergent in water using a clothes brush. It is necessary to clean the fur in the direction of the pile and not to press too hard. Do not twist the fur, but only slightly wring it out and let it drain. You can wrap the fur in a terry towel. It absorbs excess water.

Important! After the fur dries, carefully comb it so that it does not fall off and becomes fluffy.

How to wash the park manually?

If the manufacturer is against machine wash or you are afraid to spoil your favorite jacket in the washing machine, then wash it manually. How to wash the park with your hands? Follow these guidelines:

• Water temperature should not exceed 30 degrees.
• Pour water into a large container and dilute the detergent there. If you do not have a special detergent for washing down jackets, you can use shampoo.

Important! Do not wash with ordinary washing powder, it is not washed out of down filler and white stains will remain on the jacket, which will then be very difficult to get rid of.

• Lightly rub the most contaminated areas. To eliminate stains, you can use ammonia. Dilute two tablespoons of ammonia in 500 ml of water and treat the spots with this solution. Ammonia can be replaced with vinegar or oxygen bleach.
• In the process of washing, periodically beat the jacket so that the fluff does not get lumpy inside. Try not to stretch the thing very much, otherwise it will be deformed.
• Rinse the jacket well. You will have to spend a lot of time and effort on this, since such products absorb the detergent well, but give it back poorly.
• You do not need to squeeze the product. Put it on the bottom of the bathtub to allow water to glass. Then you can remove excess water with a large terry towel. Wrap a jacket in it and remember a little. The towel absorbs excess water.

How to dry a park?

It is not enough to wash the jacket correctly, it is also necessary to dry it correctly. Take advantage of our recommendations:

• Dry the park in a horizontal position away from direct sunlight and heating appliances.
• It is best to dry such a jacket in the fresh air or in a well-ventilated area.
• If the filler is in the downy parkas, then you need to periodically beat each centimeter of the jacket so that the fluff does not fall inside.
• You can finish the park on a hanger. Periodically, it must be shaken.

Important! If the product with down filling has lost its volume, it can be put into the washing machine along with several tennis balls after drying and put on the spin. During the spin, the balls will whip the fluff, the jacket will decompose and become voluminous.

How to iron a park?

How to pet a park? If the jacket is made of cotton or polyester, you can walk on it with a slightly warm iron, preferably through gauze or cotton cloth. Items made of membrane fabric cannot be ironed.

If the jacket is badly wrinkled, you can do the following:

1. Turn on the bathtub with very hot water so that there is a lot of steam.
2. Hang the jacket on the shoulders so that no water gets on it.
3. Leave for a while. Steam will smooth the creases.
4. After this method of ironing, the jacket will be wet, it will just need to be dried.
