1. Paint the frame or its section with several layers of dark (preferably black) acrylic paint. Layers should be approximately 4-6.

Important! It is not recommended to use white color due to the fact that it does not create a contrast with the glass surface, which will partially merge with it.

2. Coat acrylic layers twice with varnish.
3. Cut through the paint with a scalpel, thereby forming a pattern. You can pre-prepare a stencil with any floral ornament.
4. To your taste, apply dots of silver acrylic or stained glass contour. With different thickness points, draw the middle of the flower, the outline of its petals, dew drops on leaves and other elements.

Important! It is not necessary to make the base color monophonic - it can include several dark shades. So your painting will look more interesting.

Stained glass window

In order to get a beautiful mirror in the hallway, using stained-glass paints as the main tool, you must follow the following algorithm:

1. At the initial stage, you need to create a picture. To do this, draw a life-size sketch on a thin sheet of paper or old wallpaper in the form of the desired ornament or image.
2. Place carbon paper on the surface of the mirror and fix the sketch sheet. Then push this pattern, resulting in an imprint of the image on the mirror coating.
3. “Walk through” the outlines with a stained-glass outline and leave to dry for a day.
4. Fill each element with pre-selected colors.

Important! Typically, stained glass sets give a very meager amount of colors. Few people know that they can be mixed.

Matting

This method is very popular among hallway mirror techniques. However, it is exclusively suitable for sashes or massive mirror paintings. In order to beautifully matte a mirror coating, you need:

1. Create a sketch - for this you need to draw an image or transfer the finished one to self-adhesive paper.
2. Glue the resulting stencil to the coating. To do this, you need to attach the sketch on the right side with adhesive tape and carefully cut off part of the substrate on the other side. The sticky part on the paper needs to be fixed on the edge of the mirror, then, while continuing to remove the backing, press the paper against the mirror as it is removed.
3. Press the drawing pasted with the roller so that the paper fits well on the mirror without forming any wrinkles and air bubbles.
4. Remove the film from the screen.
5. Cover all areas that need to be left with matte, waterproof paper, cellophane, cling film or other moisture-proof material.
6. Apply the matted paste in fragments on the paper, next to the holes in the stencil, and then quickly apply it with a spatula throughout the picture.
7. After 15-20 minutes, remove the already dried paste and collect in a specific container.
8. Rinse the mirror with water and remove the stencil.
