In fact, during operation it turns out that on the walls of the components of the smoking system, tar and tar accumulate quite quickly. In this article we will share with you recommendations on how to clean a hookah in order to maintain the pleasure of flavorful smoking.

Cleaning a hookah is a very responsible procedure that must be carried out after each use of a smoking device, and then you can fully enjoy the pleasant aroma of smoke without undue smacks. The unpleasant aroma of hookah smoke can be formed as a result of settling and hardening of resins on the internal surfaces of the product.

For washing hookah, you can not use detergents and cleaning products of household chemicals, because they are almost impossible to completely wash. That is why the most urgent today is the question of how to clean a hookah at home.

Tool selection

To fully clean the device, you will need the following tools and accessories:

• running water, preferably a warm temperature;
• soda;
• thin brush with soft, but at the same time short bristles;
• rice or buckwheat;
• toothpick.

Important! If a suitable brush was not found in your house, then it can be completely replaced with an ordinary fishing line and rags.

Special conditions:

1. The cleaning procedure will not take you much time, however, it should be approached very responsibly, since in case of non-compliance with the basic rules there is a danger of scratching the flask or damaging important structural elements.
2. Especially carefully should be washed if your hookah is equipped with leather hoses, which are not particularly suitable for prolonged contact with water. Therefore, experts recommend giving preference to devices that are equipped with hoses made of washable plastic.

Important! Hot water is best suited for washing a vase and hoses, since only with its help you can quickly and easily remove the deposits formed on the walls of the hookah.

Rules for cleaning a hookah

It is advisable to carry out the hookah cleaning procedure after each use, because it is such a responsible approach to servicing the device that will maximize the life of the device. In order to clean the hookah at home, you need to disassemble it in parts. To do this, separate the shaft from the flask and saucer, and the hose from the chamber. Lay out all the parts separately from each other and pour out the remaining water from the container.

Mine cleaning

To clean the hookah shaft, follow the following procedure:

1. Rinse the part, which is easy to do by blocking its lower hole and collecting water in a container.
2. Block both holes and shake well.
3. Pour water out of the container.

Important! If you perform the procedure using cold water, then to obtain the desired cleaning effect, the process should be repeated several times.

4. Having directed one of the shaft ends into the sink, wipe its inner surface well with a brush with soft bristles.
5. If the shaft is longer than the brush, then repeat the procedure from its other edge.
6. You will notice how a slightly green-colored liquid comes out of the submerged part of the shaft.
7. Having wiped the shaft well, rinse it again with water.

Washing flask

The procedure for cleaning the main hookah flask is quite simple and the following instructions should be followed for its implementation:

1. Fill the container with water and pour out a little shaking.
2. Clean any dirt remaining on the walls of the flask with a brush.
3. If you find a precipitate in the tank, then a solution of water and vinegar or syrte and sea salt will help get rid of it.
4. After using cleaning agents, be sure to thoroughly rinse the flask with clean water.

What else should be cleaned?

At this stage, your hookah is already clean enough and can lend itself to further use. However, from time to time, an additional few minutes should be devoted to cleaning small parts, which, if soiled, can also spoil the pleasure of aromatic smoking.

Important! Parts such as a hose hole and valve should not be cleaned after each use of the hookah, however, experts recommend that you rinse them once every 5-6 times.

We clean a hole for a hose

Simply clear the hole for attaching the hookah hose if you have a brush with soft bristles. To achieve the desired result, follow the following algorithm of actions:

1. Soften the dirt accumulated in the area of ​​the hole with warm water.
2. Wipe the hole with a brush.
3. If the size of the brush does not allow it to go into the cavity of the shaft, be sure to repeat the procedure on the back of the hookah shaft.
4. After using the brush, rinse the surface thoroughly with clean water.

We clean the valve

The procedure for cleaning the valve should begin by disconnecting the cover that covers it from the shaft. It is best to perform this procedure on the surface of a bowl or plate, which is explained by the loss of a ball bearing.

Important! This part is very important, because if it is lost and there is no corresponding replacement, it will become impossible to use the hookah for its intended purpose, as the tightness of the valve fit will be violated.

After disassembling the valve, it should be carefully rinsed with water, which helps soften the dirt accumulated on the product. Further, to achieve the desired result, adhere to the following algorithm of actions:

1. Wipe the valve with the brush you usually use to clean the pipe.
2. After wiping, rinse the valve thoroughly under warm running water.
3. Using a small drop of dishwashing detergent, gently wipe the surface of the ball bearing to remove the sticky layer of dirt.
4. Rinse the bearing well and let it dry completely.
5. Rinse the valve cover thoroughly.

After carrying out all these procedures, reassemble the valve, repeating in the reverse order all the procedures for disconnecting it.
