Stage 1. Sizing a flying bed and do-it-yourself construction of drawings

Before you begin the manufacturing process, it is very important to develop a drawing of the future product. This should be done on a large paper, so that you can place absolutely all the structural elements.

Stage 2. Preparation of necessary tools and materials

After you have decided on the dimensions and built the drawings, based on the planned parameters of the future hovering bed, you need to prepare all the necessary tools and materials for work.

You will need:

• Wooden board measuring 200x20x2 centimeters;
• Wooden bars for the frame;
• Plywood sheet measuring 2.5x2 meters;
• 4 boards with locks;
• Dowels for fixing the side walls;
• LED strip 7 meters long;
• Self-tapping screws;
• Metal corners;
• PVA glue;
• Plugs in the color of wood;
• Paint;
• Stain or varnish;
• Mattress;

Stage 3. Assembly of the finished structure

Once you have prepared all the necessary materials for work, you can proceed directly to the manufacture of a soaring bed with your own hands. You need to do this according to this procedure:

Using a screwdriver and a jigsaw, assemble the frame of the future product.

• Make a base from the boards on which the frame will be held. The base should be a few centimeters smaller.

Important! If the frame made is 2.5 x 2 meters, the support should be 1 x 1 meter.

• Install the LED strip around the perimeter of the frame.
• Lay a sheet of plywood on the surface of the frame, fix it with PVA glue and self-tapping screws.
• On the sides of the frame from the boards, make a frame. To do this, the boards are installed on the sides, fixed with screws.

Important! For a more solid fixation, the boards should be pre-lubricated with PVA glue or putty.

• Install plugs at the corners.

Important! If desired, at this stage, you can make the head of the bed.

• Using sandpaper or a grinder, peel the wood to remove any knots.
• Cover the entire frame with stain or varnish.
