So, a do-it-yourself screen - we start a phased master class with a framework.

We make the basis:

  1. First you need to determine the size of your future product. According to these sizes, saw wood blocks.
  2. Wood requires pre-processing. It must be impregnated, primed and painted. This will protect it from moisture in the future. At the final stage of processing, paint the bars in the desired color and cover with several layers of varnish.
  3. You can connect the workpieces by cutting out the grooves in them: on one bar in the form of a recess, on the other in the form of a clove. Such a connection resembles a zipper in its principle. Thus, the bars are firmly connected to each other. We coat the parts with wood glue. You can do it differently and connect the bars with screws.

Important! For the manufacture of the frame, you can use other materials, for example, bamboo, metal rods, but here you need to do the welding. The main thing is that this screen fits into your interior.
