Causes of condensation

Why is the counter sweating? All modern city apartments have instruments that measure the amount of cold and hot water spent. Most often, the problem we are analyzing makes itself felt in the hot water meter. Everything would be fine, but because of large drops of water, it is difficult for the user, and sometimes it is impossible to find out the indications that the device shows.

Important! In fact, the cause of condensation is the size of the water meter. This is all because in the place of the unit where the mechanism reading hot water is installed, there is a so-called sealing gasket. It does not allow hot liquid to pass into the device.

In general, if this gasket is not installed correctly, then water vapor accumulates under the cover of the water meter, which is why the hot water meter is misted.

But this opinion is erroneous, because the humidity in the room does not affect the condensate formed under the cover of the meter.
• Many simply open the glass with their own hands and dry it, although it is contraindicated to do this without the guidance of the master, since the device is sealed, therefore there is a great chance to harm it.

If the user does not have the opportunity to contact the service center with the master with a request to fix his device, then we can advise several ways by which you can eliminate the fogging of the hot water meter for some time:

• By converting the drops under the cover of the device into steam, you can see the readings. To evaporate water under glass, you just need to heat it with an ordinary hairdryer. But here you need to be careful: with frequent use of this method, you can quickly disable the water meter, and it, as they said, is already faulty.
• Also, to see the numbers demonstrated by the device, just shake off the drops from the glass. To do this, simply tap lightly on the pipes to which the device is attached, or on it yourself. 1. You must call to the house the masters of the company that produces your meter, while writing a special statement that you must provide.
2. After considering the application, the organization must send a master from his company, which will first have to take readings, and then give you the relevant documents.
3. Then the employee will have to take the meter with him to the service center, where he will be repaired.
4. After some time, you will have to call and inform about the status of the device: can it be used in the future. If the answer is yes, then the meter’s owner will be issued a certificate of verification of the device with the signature of the company employee and a special seal with the organization’s code.
