So you bought a fireplace. It remains only to mount it and equip the chimney. First of all, it must be taken into account that the mounted structure weighs from 350 kg to half a ton. Therefore, do not be too lazy to check whether the floor can withstand such a load. The focus should only be set on a strictly horizontal surface made of fireproof material. Severe overheating of the base, if the material does not have sufficient heat resistance, can cause a fire.

Algorithm for arranging a heat-resistant base:

1. Cut combustible flooring elements.
2. Make a foundation of concrete mortar.

Important! Experts recommend for greater safety when installing a fireplace and installing a chimney to remove combustible flooring elements not only directly under the fireplace, but also at a distance of 0.3 m directly in front of it (0.15 m is enough on the sides). After the base is fully completed, it remains to place a fireplace. For durable fastening of the furnace to the foundation, a heat-resistant adhesive or a special mortar can be used. Now you need to be patient and wait until the solution completely hardens.

When installing a structure in a wooden house, additional protection of flammable materials with reinforced concrete is necessary. All components must be securely attached to the wall.
