DIY installation

In order to install the suspended ceiling with your own hands, you will need:

The whole technological process is divided into such stages.

Frame layout

At this stage, mark the base point at a distance of 50-150 mm from the ceiling. The remaining points are marked by level. Profile mounting

The metal profile is fixed strictly along the marking line. In the corners, the profile is not cut, but a small incision is made and bent along adjacent walls. Fastening is carried out on self-tapping screws, the interval between which is 100-150 mm. Joints must be cleaned so that there are no roughness and burrs.

Important! The joints of the profiles are fastened with a metallized tape so as not to damage the canvas.

At this stage, the material is fixed at the corner points of the frame, and then heated with a thermal “gun”.

Final assembly of the tension web

After the material has softened under the influence of heat, the canvas is carefully tucked into the grooves of the profile, using a spatula. First, the canvas is fixed in one corner, then in the opposite. The remaining 2 corners are designed in the same way. After all edges are tucked into the grooves of the profile, the gun is turned off.

Fixture mounting
