Repair of the heater in the washing machine - rules for dismantling the part

Be sure to unplug the machine. Prepare a rag and a small bucket or basin to collect spilled water. Unscrew the drain pump filter or lay the drain hose at floor level. This is necessary to completely drain the water from the tank. Next, proceed in this order:

1. Disunite the wires that go to the heating element.
2. Unscrew the nut located in the middle.
3. Press firmly on the stud on which the nut was.

After that, carefully using a knife or a screwdriver, carefully remove the heater. Now it remains only to check whether it is operational or not. If not, just replace it with a new one.
