How to clean the carpet with home remedies?

Method number 1 - Sauerkraut

Surely in the refrigerator most rural residents and vegetable lovers will find a can of sauerkraut, which is traditionally prepared without the addition of vinegar. You can find it in the most unexpected way - to clean the carpet at home from dirt.

To do this, do the following:

1. Take cabbage, the amount of which depends on the size of the carpet.
2. Squeeze a pickle from it.
3. Rinse with running water to remove odor.
4. Scatter cabbage on the carpet and leave for half an hour.
5. After that, sweep the cabbage together with the dust with a hard broom or brush.
6. Rinse the cabbage in a colander under running water.
7. The procedure must be repeated until the cabbage is clean.
8. Dry the carpet.
9. Vacuum or knock out the product.

Method number 2 - Tea brewing

1. Take a sleeping tea leaves from black tea, moisten it a little and evenly apply on the carpet.

4. Let the carpet dry completely.

Important! To clean carpet products, it is better to take a brewing of black medium- or large-leaf tea. You can’t use tea leaves of granular or “alpine” varieties - they are small and will then be difficult to remove from the carpet surface.

Method number 3 - Wood chips

To clean the pollution of a light (white) carpet at home, use a mixture of small wood chips with purified gasoline and detergent. To achieve the desired result, do the following:

1. Mix 1 part gasoline with 10 parts concentrated soapy water.
2. Dip small wood chips into the resulting liquid.
3. Wait for the wood to soak in soapy water.
4. Spread the sawdust over the carpet.
5. Wait for the wood to dry.
6. Sweep away the remaining sawdust with a brush or broom.

Method number 4 - Soda and citric acid

Another proven method is cleaning the carpet with soda and citric acid. To achieve the highest quality result, follow these instructions:

1. Take 1 tablespoon of soda, dissolve it in 1 liter of water
2. Add 2 teaspoons of citric acid or 1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice.
3. Thoroughly mix the solution and apply to the surface of the carpet with a brush.
4. Clean the carpet.
5. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated several times.

How to quickly clean a carpet at home?

Method 1

To remove coffee or tea stains from the carpet, blot the fresh stain with a dry cloth or napkin. After getting wet with a brush, apply soapy water to a contaminated area.

Method 2
